It's a great manga...perhaps too great.
WARNING! NEXT PARAGRAPH MAY CAUSE SPOILERS!
Okay, we have crossing over into other worlds, vampires, plot twists, violence, eye-eating clone-thingies, more plot-twists, people wanting to bring others back to life, more plot-twists, plot-twists and..oh yeah, plot-twists...
SPOILERS DONE!
Did I mention there was plot-twists?
Anyway, because there are so many characters and plot-twists, not to mention questions everyone wants answered in this crazy little story, we all thought that this story was going be like 400 or so chapters, or just keep going until the author died, right?
Wrong.
I have seen it. I have just now seen the END of TSUBASA CHRONICLES! That's right, kiddies, no more Tsubasa for you! You'll have to stick to XxxHolic, instead. Clamp is DONE with Tsubasa.
It's the SIGN OF THE APOCOLYPSE!
Maybe my friend WAS right, and the world in going to end in 2012...maybe...
The manga is surprisingly short, measuring at about 232 chapters. That's shorter than Prince of Tennis, and just barely longer than Hikaru no Go.
And what sucks even more was that Kurogane and Fai were almost completely ignored near the end. (Kuro-chan! No, why? I love you and Fai-kun so much!)
*Sigh*
Well, we can't all get we want, huh?
I'm probably going to end up reading XxxHolic to try to find all the answers that I couldn't get out of Tsubasa, too.
Boy, clamp really knows how to get you hooked, huh?

They brought sexy back, but I scared it away.
Give up on yourself, and you give up on the world.

Razors pain you; Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you; And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful; Nooses give;
Gas smells awful; You might as well live.

TK, remember this morning when you said you really cared for me? What did you mean by that?
Huh? Well, you know. It was just... stuff.
Oh, well, you know what? I care for you, too.
Thanks for the support. ♥

"You don't seriously believe that a person can't exist without a history?"
"My dear, Madam," Yugi said nostalgically, "You can't imagine the debates I've had with myself over that very issue."
